Jacoby Jones taken out of the game by his teammate

Laces Out

Jacoby Jones" src="" alt="" width="600" height="400" /> By Sid Saraf, Jacoby Jones got taken out by friendly fire. The Ravens receiver and punt returner extraordinaire left the Ravens' season opener against the Broncos with a knee sprain. What's worse it that it was his own guy running into him. Jones was back deep for a punt and waiting for the ball to land into his hands when Ravens rookie Brynden Trawick, who was trying to get a block on Denver's Mike Adams, collided with a ton of force. Jones and Trawick crumpled to the ground and Jones went to the sideline. After a couple of minutes sitting on the bench, Jones and the trainers headed to the locker room.

To put it lightly, that's not good. And Trawick, who was just trying to make a play, might face the wrath of the Baltimore coaching staff. One ex-Raven can pretty much confirm that for us:   Bad news all around. Questions? Comments? Send them to and we might respond in our weekly mailbag!
