Kelly has remained mum, but did allow a little insight on his immediate knowledge of the quarterbacks after he got the gig in Philly. “I didn’t know anything about either of them going into this because I had never coached them before,” Kelly said on FOX Football Daily. “They’ve embraced this situation and I’ll give both of those guys credit. I think sometimes where there is competition, especially a high-profile competition, sometimes it can get testy. “There hasn’t really been a day where a guy has just gone south and another guy has taken off. I think it’s brought out the best in both of them. Our first time to work with both Michael and Nick was on April 1, so it’s new to everybody.” Although Kelly can say he didn’t have any knowledge of either quarterback, Kelly did coach against Foles while the quarterback was at the University of Arizona. Foles was 0-2 against Oregon.
