Cam Newton’s training camp is off to a hot start.

While the Panthers prepare for their first preseason game against the Bills on Friday, the fourth-year quarterback continues to be a fan favorite.

A FOX production assistant on location at Wofford University spotted Newton giving two kids a signed pair of cleats after practice on Tuesday.

Newton, 25, had an eventful offseason as he returned to Auburn’s campus to work towards finishing his degree and underwent ankle surgery. None of that, though, has prevented him from showing small gestures that go a long way.

And as the Panthers quarterback loves to say, “Cam loves the kids.”
