Laces Out NFL Blog All hail The Commish! Goodell takes part in ice bucket challenge Don't ever say Roger Goodell isn't willing to get wet for a good cause. Roger Goodell isn't afraid of getting wet. Adam Hunger / USA TODAY Sports By Sid Saraf Aug 12, 2014 at 2:33p ET You gotta hand it to Roger Goodell. The NFL commissioner was called out by retired linebacker Scott Fujita to take part in the Ice Bucket Challenge, which is attempting to raise awareness for ALS. Well, good ol' Roger did just that. Barefoot! Goodell passed the challenge on to Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and FOX NFL Sunday host Michael Strahan. It's now up to you, guys. Thanks @sfujita55. I challenge @PeteCarroll & @michaelstrahan to the ALS #IceBucketChallenge! http://t.co/IHXZE275M2— Roger Goodell (@nflcommish) August 12, 2014 Seriously, though. This is probably the only time you'll see Goodell sans shoes and socks. Strange times indeed.
