News: Despite trading away both Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills this offseason, the Saints did not take a wide receiver in the 2015 NFL Draft. Morgan is a leading candidate to be the Saints' fourth or fifth receiver, behind Marques Colston, Brandin Cooks, and Nick Toon, ESPN.com reports.
Impact: Morgan re-signed with the Saints in April, which was a bit of a surprise since he was released by the Saints last season - apparently for both on- and off-field issues. When asked about Morgan after the draft, however, head coach Sean Payton said that Morgan "deserved" an opportunity to come back to New Orleans after taking a "handful of steps" that led to his return. Regardless of the reasons for his return, Morgan will be in a tight battle for a roster spot, competing with two of last season's undrafted free agents that Payton has praised heavily this offseason, Seantavius Jones and Brandon Coleman. Still, Morgan may have an early leg up for playing time, as, unlike those two, who have never played an NFL snap, he has provided some dynamic big-play moments in his brief career - something this New Orleans' offense was so desperately lacking last season.

News: The New Orleans Saints have brought back Morgan on a one-year contract.
Impact: Morgan joined the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Walsh University in 2011, but missed all of his rookie season and the 2013 season with injuries. Last season, Morgan played in five games, starting two. He caught four passes for 92 yards and had a 67-yard run. However, coach Sean Payton suspended Morgan two games in midseason for undisclosed reasons and later cut Morgan after a lopsided loss to Carolina on Dec. 7.

News: Morgan re-signed with the Saints on Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact: Morgan was released by the Saints in December midway through a poor 2014 campaign. However, the team tends to have an open-minded approach when it comes to the roster, and will give the wideout another shot with the club. It's unclear where he will fit in, but with Kenny Stills no longer on the roster, he could make a run at a spot out of camp.
