News: Casey agreed to a one-year deal with the Broncos on Saturday.
Impact: Casey was a disappointing and not particularly cheap free agent bust in Philadelphia, but the former Rice star has a lot of versatility both on offense and special teams, and he should provide cheap utility behind Owen Daniels and Virgil Green.

News: Casey agreed to a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos on Saturday.
Impact: Casey played for coach Gary Kubiak in Houston from 2009-12 and spent his last two seasons in Philadelphia, where he worked primarily as a run-blocker in Chip Kelly's offense and made his mark on special teams. He led the league in 2014 with 439 special teams snaps, collecting 13 tackles and blocking two punts. Casey was more of a target under Kubiak, catching a career-best 34 passes for 330 yards and three touchdowns in their last year together.

News: The Eagles have released Casey, the team's official site reports.
Impact: The move leaves the Eagles with Brent Celek, Zach Ertz and Trey Burton at the tight end position for now, while Casey -- who caught just three passes for 59 yards and two TDs this past season -- will now look to catch on elsewhere as a depth TE.
