News: Rodgers signed a one-year deal with the Bears on Tuesday.
Impact: Rodgers could take on some of Matt Forte's third-down work as the Bears look to preserve their franchise running back for at least another season or two. This still isn't a good landing spot for Rodgers to establish value, as Forte led all NFL running backs in snaps in both 2013 and 2014. The Bears also have 2014 fourth-round draft pick Ka'Deem Carey, who could very well head into training camp ahead of Rodgers on the depth chart. Rodgers has never shown much promise in the running game, so it shouldn't be too surprising if he has to settle for the third spot on the depth chart and occasional third-down work.

News: Rodgers is visiting the Bears, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
Impact: The Bears currently have Ka'Deem Carey and Senorise Perry behind Matt Forte, who led all NFL running backs in snaps in both 2013 and 2014. While the Bears may want to slightly reduce Forte's workload, Chicago wouldn't be a great landing spot for Rodgers' 2015 fantasy prospects. The former Falcon has seen most of his work on passing downs over the last few years, and Forte is one of the top receiving backs in the league.
