This is the most obvious and most pressing need. The Rams are currently trying to restructure Bradford’s contract and are also talking about an outright release. Whatever they decide to do, they need to address this need first thing in free agency. Look for the Rams to be in on Nick Foles and Brian Hoyer.

The Rams have struggled for years on the offensive line. You can expect them to address this need head on this offseason. If they were to spend big money on a free agent it would be for an OL. The Rams may make a run at G Mike Iupati and will likely use a first- or second-round pick on a lineman in this upcoming draft.

With the QB situation in flux, the Rams must concentrate on improving an already solid defense. The secondary was solid last season, but they missed that hard-hitting big-play guy in the middle. The draft is filled with players like that such as Cody Prewitt from Ole Miss or Kurtis Drummond out of Michigan State. The Rams should stack up on safeties this offseason.
The Rams have some threats on the outside but lack that No. 1 WR that every team desires. Tavon Austin flashed signs of greatness but has not been consistent enough. The free-agent market for WR’s is stacked and there may be some true bargains out there. Michael Crabtree and Torrey Smith would be in the Rams’ price range just to name a few.

Tre Mason played in 12 games last season averaging 4 yards a carry with four rushing TDs. If the Rams want to make a huge splash this offseason, they should go out and draft Melvin Gordon. Gordon is an absolute stud and pairing him with Mason in the backfield would give the Rams a two-headed monster. With the QB situation unknown, RB suddenly becomes a very key component to address this offseason.
