New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady smiles as the team arrives at the Indianapolis International Airport for NFL footbal's Super Bowl XLVI Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, in Indianapolis. New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning waves as he boards a bus headed to the airport outside the Giants NFL football training facility Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, in East Rutherford, N.J. The Giants will play the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI on Feb. 5 in Indianapolis.
Take the lead
With both men leading their teams during Super Bowl XLVI, we decided to take a look at how Tom Brady and Eli Manning stack up off the field. Who has the edge?
Let's spot Abby Manning (right) some points here since it's almost unrealistic to ask someone to be compared to an international supermodel. Tom's wife Gisele Bundchen (left) definitely packs a glamorous punch, but Abby holds her own with a girl-next-door appeal.
Before they were stars
Both Eli (left) and Tom (right) put their extraordinary athletic talent to good use and laying high school baseball serves as another way to stay ready for football season. Plus, Tom was actually drafted by the Montreal Expos.
All about the animals
Its safe to say that both quarterbacks have experience with animals. But judging from these pictures, Tom might be the more nurturing of the two.
Ready for the closeup
Tom (left) and Eli (right) are both comfortable with themselves, which is a good thing if it means they can share themselves with the world. These guys are just givers.
Amusement park fun
Daredevil Brady (left) obviously prefers to relieve stress by having a splashing good time. Manning (right) is more composed but no less relaxed while enjoying a spin with the wifey at Disneyland.
All dressed up in love
Both these men know how to do the Red Carpet justice. No point in letting the wife steal all the photo love! Brady and Gisele definitely turn heads but aren't Eli and his wife just like all of us?
All in the family
The Manning brothers' story is well-documented thanks to their ex-NFL quarterback dad Archie's high-profile. Tom's grown up without brothers, but he has twice as many women in the family to make up for it.
Every now and then a man has to embrace his inner Grizzly Adams. For Tom (left) and Eli (right), that time has come and gone.
Time to be hipster
Eli's got his casual swag going on while Brady channels his inner "Hamptons' hipster."
Father knows best
For both these guys, it looks like their fathers have been an inspiration in their lives.
If advertisers are looking for stars to sell their product, they'd be hard pressed to find any athlete better than these two. Trust Brady to make Ugg boots manly.
Ready, set, action!
Tom might win the name recognition battle here since most people are familiar with Saturday Night Live. Eli might face an uphill battle with Football Cops.
These two sure do clean up nice for two gritty, tough quarterbacks. Real nice.
Who wore their milk mustache best? It's a tight race so we'll just settle with being happy that both of them are getting some extra calcium to protect their bones during games.
Bouncin' and behavin'
Eli is brave to mount a challenge to Brady and his vaunted hair, but Eli's always been a scrappy guy. With free access to product, Brady may be losing his grip as the Lord of the football hair fiefdom.
