The Larry Fitzgerald drama is unfolding at this very moment. Whether Fitzgerald stays or goes, he is not the receiver he used to be. Arizona needs that go-to No. 1 WR. The free-agent and draft class is absolutely stacked with wide receivers. Jeremy Maclin, Torrey Smith, and Dez Bryant are just a few the Cardinals could pursue this offseason.
The Cardinals defense was very good last season, but the production they got out of linebacker in 2014 will be hard to count on in 2015. Foote had an amazing year, but now he's considering going into coaching. The free-agent class is not super strong at this position, so look for Arizona to use a draft pick in the early rounds to solidify this position.
Andre Ellington didn’t have a bad year, but he definitely wasn’t the RB the Cardinals expected him to be. He battled injuries all year and was finally placed on IR after 12 games. He only averaged 3.3 yards per carry. The Cardinals would be wise to draft a power RB to pair with Ellington in the backfield. For a team with Super Bowl aspirations and questions at QB, the RB is one of the more important positions they will need to address.

The Cardinals just signed Carson Palmer to a huge contract extension, and he tore his ACL the next week. While the starting QB job is Palmer’s, no one really knows how this injury will affect him. The Cardinals will look potentially to the draft for their future QB and will look toward free agency for a solid backup. Some names they could go after are Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett.
The Cardinals were No. 1 last season against the run. NT Dan Williams is a free agent and would be big loss for Arizona. The Cardinals need to find a guy who can get to the QB and demand a double team. It is something they lacked in 2014. The draft is filled with defensive ends, and there are some high-profile free agents if the Cardinals want to make a big splash in in that realm.
