News: Mathis (toe) will not be available for the Cardinals' Week 3 matchup against the Bills, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.
Impact: This appears to be a separate injury from the one that put his Week 2 status in question, as Mathis is reportedly now dealing with a turf toe instead of a mid-foot sprain. In his absence, Cole Toner projects to slide into the starting lineup at right guard.
Rotowire: Sep 18 / 11:46a ET
News: Mathis (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Mark Dalton of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Impact: Mathis suffered a mid-foot sprain during the week but looks to be feeling well enough to suit up Sunday. He'll get the start at right guard opposite Mike Iupati.
Rotowire: Sep 16 / 4:29p ET
News: Mathis is questionable for Week 2 due to a foot injury, Mike Jurecki of Fox Sports 910 AM reports.
Impact: It's unclear how Mathis injured his foot, but it was enough to limit him in practice both Thursday and Friday. Though he's questionable, it'd be surprising to see him out Sunday.
