News: Thomas recorded nine tackles (six solo) and a forced fumble in Sunday's Week 1 opener against the Rams.
Impact: Thomas led the team in tackles, on a day where the Seahawks' defense struggled to get stops against the Rams. He was all over the field, which is nothing new from the Pro-Bowl safety. Thomas will continue to be a solid IDP play, in what should be a top-five defense once again.

News: Thomas (shoulder) won't play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Raiders, but Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll suggested that the safety is ready for Week 1.
Impact: Coming off a torn labrum that he played through in the Super Bowl, Thomas has been practicing for the last two weeks. He's still toward the front end of his recovery timetable (6-8 months), but the Seahawks don't seem worried about his Week 1 status.
