News: Bryant (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Raiders.
Impact: Bryant's absence will adversely affect the Cleveland pass rush depth and effectively bump John Hughes into a starting role. Rookie Xavier Cooper is also expected to be involved in the defensive scheme. After missing practice all week with a shoulder injury, Bryant will now look to return to the practice field in advance of Week 4's matchup with San Diego.

News: Bryant finished Saturday's preseason game with two tackles (one solo) and two sacks.
Impact: Bryant's highlight of the night was recording two sacks on back-to-back possessions against opposing rookie Jameis Winston. He was part of a pass rushing unit that accumulated six total sacks on the evening. Look for Bryant to get a starting role in Mike Pettine's 3-4 defensive scheme, due to both his versatility and ability to make big plays.
