News: Thompson recorded two catches for 81 yards during his seven games with the Bears in the 2015 season.
Impact: Both of Thompson's two catches on the season went for huge yardage, but those opportunities only came because the top four wideouts on the depth chart -- Alshon Jeffery, Eddie Royal, Kevin White and Marquess Wilson -- missed time in the second half of the year. Thompson also served as the Bears' kick returner during his stint with the club, where he posted an impressive average of 29.2 yards per return. His success on that front may be enough for him to retain a roster spot with the Bears in 2016, though he'll still need to turn in a strong training camp.

News: Thompson caught a 36-yard pass on his lone target in Sunday's 24-21 loss to the Redskins.
Impact: It took four games with the Bears before Thompson, the team's kick returner, saw his first target as a receiver. He'll likely remain the fourth or fifth option on the Bears' depth chart at receiver the rest of the way, as he earned only five offensive snaps Sunday.
