News: Thompson (hip/knee) is questionable for Monday's game against Cincinnati.
Impact: Thompson was able to log two limited practices to close out the week, but both he and Ronnie Hillman (foot) are uncertain for Monday's game. C.J. Anderson (probable, ankle) is locked into the lead runner role, either way.
News: Hillman (foot) is questionable for Monday's game against Cincinnati.
Impact: Hillman was able to make limited practice appearances all week, but his status remains up in the air. Even if he does suit up, it's possible that the Broncos will again lean heavily on C.J. Anderson and Juwan Thompson, though Thompson (hip/knee) is questionable himself.
News: Thomas (ankle) is probable for Monday's game against Cincinnati.
Impact: Thomas practiced fully all week, so his health isn't a question going into Monday. His exact role in the Denver offense remains a bit elusive -- he had just a 30-yard catch against San Diego in his return after a three-game absence -- but he could see a more prominent role if Emmanuel Sanders (questionable, illness) surprisingly sits out Monday.
News: Tamme (ribs) is probable for Monday's game against Cincinnati.
Impact: Tamme practiced all week, so his rib issue is a very minor one. Other than a fluky 10-target game against St. Louis about five weeks ago, Tamme hasn't had a reliable role in the Denver offense, however.
News: Latimer (concussion) is probable for Monday's game against Cincinnati.
Impact: Latimer practiced fully all week so he'll be available when the Broncos take on the Bengals. There's an off chance that the Broncos might need to use Latimer more than usual if Emmanuel Sanders (illness) unexpectedly sits out, but Wes Welker and Andre Caldwell remain the general favorites to step up in that scenario.
News: Sanders (illness) is questionable for Monday's game against Cincinnati.
Impact: Sanders is generally expected to play in Monday's game despite getting sent home from practice Saturday due to flu-like symptoms. So long as his symptoms prove manageable by Monday, Sanders ought to be able to play through it. He'll need to join the Broncos' flight for Cincinnati on Sunday to do that, so we'll keep a lookout for confirmation on Sanders' travel plans.
News: Manning (thigh) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against Cincinnati after logging a limited practice Saturday, ESPN's Jeff Legwold reports. Despite the questionable tag, Manning is expected to start.
Impact: Although he was limited, the fact that Manning was present for each practice this week means he's fully expected to start. As his playoff-eligible fantasy owners know all too well, Manning is in a three-game slump at the moment, and it's understandable to fear a fourth disappointing game as he takes on a tough Cincinnati pass defense. Still, Manning's three-game stat line of just 585 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions seems like a major aberration, so he's bound to get back to his usual per-game production soon enough. For what it's worth, Emmanuel Sanders (flu-like symptoms) left Saturday's practice but is expected to play Monday.
News: Sanders (illness) was sent home from Saturday's practice with flu-like symptoms but is expected to play against Cincinnati on Monday, ESPN's Jeff Legwold reports.
Impact: Sanders is expected to play, but we'll make sure to note whether he's on the Broncos' plane to Cincinnati on Sunday. If he surprisingly sits out, some combination of Wes Welker and Andre Caldwell should see more snaps.
