News: Bibbs was signed to the Broncos' active roster Monday, the Denver Post reports.
Impact: Bibbs, who went undrafted in 2014, has spent the first seven weeks of the season on the practice squad. While he led the team with three rushing touchdowns during the preseason, he's not likely to make an impact at this time, as his call-up from the practice squad comes as a response to other teams expressing interest in signing him.
News: McManus (strained right groin) didn't practice Monday, Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports.
Impact: We'll track his status in advance of Thursday's game against the Chargers, but as long as the Broncos don't sign another kicker, we'll operate under the assumption that McManus will continue to kick for the team in Week 8.
News: Talib had two tackles and an interception during Sunday's win over the 49ers.
Impact: Talib has now picked off a pass in back-to-back games, matching his total from 2011 and doubling his 2012 and 2013 output. Quarterbacks just don't throw at him very often, thereby limiting his opportunity to pick off passes, which is really his greatest fantasy asset, as he's not a high-volume tackler.
News: Miller had two sacks Sunday against the 49ers and now leads the league with eight through the first seven weeks of the season.
Impact: Miller has recorded at least one sack in five straight games, while grabbing two of them in each of the last three games. He has been a beast this season coupled with DeMarcus Ware, who is tied for second in the NFL with seven sacks.
News: Ware had a season-high three sacks during Sunday's win over the 49ers.
Impact: Ware was an absolute beast Sunday, increasing his season sack total to seven in six games, which places him in a tie for second in the league behind teammate Von Miller, who had two sacks Sunday to bring his total to eight.
News: McManus didn't receive a single field goal opportunity but went 6-for-6 on PATs during Sunday's win over the 49ers.
Impact: The Denver offense has been absolutely unstoppable this season, and McManus has attempted multiple field goals just once this season. While his 23-for-23 success on PATs is nice, he needs to start kicking more field goals to be more valuable in fantasy leagues.
News: Sanders caught 3-of-3 targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 42-17 win over the 49ers.
Impact: Though he finally got his first touchdown of the year on his 36th reception, Sanders now has just six catches on nine targets over the last two games. Part of the volume decrease can be attributed to the fact that the Broncos haven't needed to attempt many passes, but it's also relevant that the team has a healthy Wes Welker and a red-hot Demaryius Thomas. Of course, the Denver offense supported three productive wide receivers last season, and Sanders is still headed for the finest year of his career. Owners just shouldn't expect the 10.5 targets per game that he averaged through the first four games of the season.
News: Welker caught all three of his targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 42-17 win over the 49ers.
Impact: Welker scored a rare (for him) long touchdown from 38 yards out on the record-tying 508th passing score of Peyton Manning's storied career. The future Hall of Famer attempted just 26 passes on the night, and the targets were dominated by Demaryius Thomas (nine) and TE Julius Thomas (six). Welker still has a key role in an elite offense, but it's a bit concerning for owners that he has just four receptions on four targets over the last two games, after recording 13 receptions on 18 targets through his first two appearances of the season.
