News: The Texans agreed to terms Tuesday with Polk on a one-year, $600,000 contract, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact: Polk, who had 46 carries for 172 yards and four TDs for the Eagles in 14 games last season, gives the Texans added running back depth behind starter Arian Foster to go along with returnees Alfred Blue and Jonathan Grimes.

News: The Eagles have rescinded their restricted free agent tender offer to Polk, CSN Philadelphia's Geoff Mosher reports.
Impact: Polk's rescinded offer comes as another surprise from the Eagles' front office. Following some injury woes last season, Polk rushed for 44 yards and three touchdowns on nine carries over two of Philadelphia's final three regular season games. Nonetheless, that late momentum apparently wasn't enough to keep Polk's tender offer on the table, so now the running back will be free to sign with any other team ahead of the upcoming campaign.
