News: Coach Bruce Arians said Tuesday that Palmer (knee) is "so far" ahead of schedule in his recovery from a torn ACL, NFL.com's Kevin Patra reports.
Impact: Arians expressed optimism that Palmer would be ready to go for the Cardinals' mandatory minicamp, but given the severity of the injury, it's much more likely the team limits their franchise quarterback's activity until training camp. Even so, it's encouraging to see that Palmer appears on his way to being ready for the start of the 2015 season, after he was on his way to one of the best years of his career before succumbing to the injury.

News: Palmer (knee) is in line for a "full" return during OTAs in May and June, Bob McManaman of the Arizona Republic reports.
Impact: The Cardinals held their final media session of the season Sunday, when Palmer said, "I'm just continuing to grind it out. It's baby steps from here but I actually get to start up-tempo walking-slash-jogging on Monday, so I'm excited about that." The development is one of the first in his quest for a full recovery from the torn ACL suffered in Week 10, but his optimism could eventually be quelled by the reality of such an injury and his age, 35. In the meantime, Drew Stanton, the Cardinals' backup quarterback, is poised to participate in early offseason work and could enter training camp 2015 as the starter, if Palmer experiences any bumps in the road.
