News: Orakpo agreed to terms Friday with the Titans on a four-year, $32 million contract, the Washington Times reports.
Impact: Orakpo is coming off a substandard 2014 season with Washington (24 tackles and 0.5 sacks in seven games) that came to an end in October when he suffered a torn right pectoral muscle. The same injury cost Orakpo most of the 2012 campaign, but he's otherwise consistently pressured opposing quarterbacks when healthy during his career, averaging nearly 10 sacks in the four seasons he's played at least 15 games. With the Titans, Orakpo will slot in at outside linebacker in defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau's 3-4 defensive scheme, where he'll be tasked with providing a bookend on the pass rush with Derrick Morgan, who was also re-signed by the Titans on Friday.
