News: Texans head coach Bill O'Brien believes Foster has a lot of good football left, NFL.com reports.
Impact: Foster has only played 21 games over the past two seasons, but his performance in those games leaves little doubt that he's still one of the better running backs in the league. He averaged 4.5 yards per carry for an otherwise hopeless team in 2013, and then posted a 260-1,246-8 rushing line (4.8 YPC) over 13 games in 2014. Also still a major threat as a receiver, Foster will be the Texans' bell cow in 2015, even if the team tries to work in a bit more Alfred Blue and/or Jonathan Grimes. Foster will turn 29 shortly before the season, and his ability to stay healthy remains the biggest concern.

News: Foster left Sunday's game against the Jaguars with a hamstring injury.
Impact: With Foster hobbled, Alfred Blue and Jonathan Grimes are in line to see added touches in the Texans' Week 17 rushing attack. Before departing, Foster rushed for 23 yards on five carries and caught a 10-yard TD pass on his lone target.
