News: Ellington agreed to a deal with the Nets on Thursday.
Impact: The contract is reportedly a one-year deal with $1.5 million, as Ellington will provide some much-needed outside shooting off the bench for Brooklyn, especially with the departure of Alan Anderson to the Wizards this offseason. Injuries allowed for Ellington to serve a fairly large role on the Lakers last season and he finished with season averages of 10.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists, all of which were career highs for the 27-year-old.
