News: McRoberts (toe) is expected to be ready for the start of Miami's opener on Oct. 29, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Impact: McRoberts had surgery on his toe during the offseason to remove bone spurs but seems to be unaffected going into the season. The surgery took place immediately after the Hornets' run in the playoffs had ended, so McRoberts has had the entire summer to recover. He will have the opportunity to play in eight preseason games before the regular season starts, so his status should be updated as he tests out his reconstructed toe.

News: Wade said his goal is to play every game this season, the Sun-Sentinel's Ira Winderman reports.
Impact: On the surface it may be difficult to imagine Wade successfully playing in every game, after last season's knee maintenance plan kept him out of most back-to-backs and he ended up missing 28 games total. However, he's supposed to be as lean as he's been in a long time, opting to slim down by following the Paleo diet instead of hitting the weights like he has in previous seasons. If he can stay healthy -- and that may be a big if -- he could be a bargain in fantasy drafts, especially since he'll be handling the ball more with LeBron James out of the picture.

News: Granger (knee) went through a full practice session Saturday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Impact: Granger revealed Friday that he underwent knee surgery during the offseason, but it would seem he has recovered from the procedure, as he made it through the Heat's first practice of training camp without issue. Granger is on track to open the season as the backup small forward behind Luol Deng.

News: Appearing at Heat Media Day, Granger revealed he underwent knee surgery over the summer, the Miami Herald reports.
Impact: Granger has a lengthy history of knee problems so the news isn't the best way to start the new season. Granger admitted he will under a strict maintenance program, further limiting his fantasy value.

News: Bosh will get a lot more touches in the post this season as the Heat will use him more as an inside-out threat with LeBron James no longer with the team, the Sun Sentinel reports.
Impact: With James no longer with the Heat, there should be some room in the paint, and Bosh could be the main beneficiary statistically as an inside-out threat. Expect Bosh's three-point attempts to decrease, but he should see a nice bump in free throws, points, and rebounds. He probably won't return to his Toronto numbers of 24.0 points and 10.8 rebounds per game, but Bosh will be among the main offensive options for the Heat and will carry significantly more fantasy value than last season.
