News: Farmar (back) won't play in Tuesday's preseason game, the San Francisco Chronicle's Rusty Simmons reports.
Impact: He left Saturday's game with lower-back tightness, and should be considered day-to-day for now.

News: Farmar left Saturday's preseason game against the Nuggets with lower back tightness and did not return, the Clippers' official site reports.
Impact: This doesn't seem like it will develop into a significant concern, but we will let you know if that assessment changes. The Clippers next preseason tilt comes Tuesday against Golden State.

News: Douglas-Roberts suffered a sprained ankle in Friday's preseason game against Utah and will not play Saturday against Denver, the Clippers' official site reports.
Impact: Coach Doc Rivers said the injury is not very serious, so it is possible that Douglas-Roberts could be back on the floor as early as Tuesday against the Warriors. Joe Ingles will start in Douglas-Roberts' place.

News: Davis has a right groin strain and is questionable to be ready for the season opener, the Orange County Register's Dan Woike reports.
Impact: It's not clear how he got injured, but his availability for the start of the regular season is in jeopardy. However, Davis is fourth in the pecking order for minutes in the frontcourt, behind Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and Spencer Hawes, so his fantasy value is very limited.

News: Jordan has been shooting 100 free-throws after each practice in an effort to improve his much maligned free-throw shooting, the LA Times reports.
Impact: While it is unlikely that Jordan makes major strides on his 42.8% mark from the free-throw line last season, fantasy owners can be encouraged by the fact that he is working to improve himself in weak areas. Jordan projects to be a beast in field goal percentage, rebounds, and blocks this season regardless of his horrific free-throw success rate and is firmly entrenched in the Clippers' starting lineup. He could, however, lose a few crunch time minutes to new addition Spencer Hawes, who is a far better free-throw shooter and overall offensive threat.

News: Paul scored 11 points (4-13 FG, 1-2 3P, 2-2 FT) with 11 assists in 29 minutes during Monday's preseason loss to the Jazz.
Impact: With a healthy J.J. Redick alongside him in the back court and Blake Griffin once again powering home his passes, the only thing that might prevent Paul from turning in a truly monster fantasy season might be his own ability to avoid injury.

News: Redick scored 17 points (6-11 FG, 1-2 3P, 4-4 FT) with three assists and two rebounds in 30 minutes during Monday's preseason loss to the Jazz.
Impact: If he can avoid the injury bug this time around with the Clippers, Redick is potentially poised for a career season as the long-range complement to Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.

News: Griffin scored 31 points (14-22 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT) with five rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes during Monday's preseason loss to the Jazz.
Impact: It seems safe to say that Griffin is ready for the regular season. If his offseason work to improve the range on his shot pays some dividends, he might even be able to top last year's career best 24.1 PPG.

News: Hawes scored 15 points to go with six rebounds in bench duty against Portland on Sunday. He added a trio of three-pointers in the contest on six attempts.
Impact: While it was presumed that Hawes would take a significant hit in fantasy value as a reserve for the Clippers, he looked like an asset against the Trail Blazers. He still does not carry the same type of statistical upside that he had last season, but it is clear that he is going to be a contributor for the Clippers this year, and Hawes has the skill set to play next to DeAndre Jordan and/or Blake Griffin if given the opportunity.

News: Udoh suffered a sprained ankle during warmups and will not play Sunday against the Blazers.
Impact: The forward suffered the injury just before tip off, and he'll be held out for what's ultimately a meaningless game.

News: Bullock will start at small forward Sunday, the OC Register reports.
Impact: Bullock played only seven minutes in the preseason opener Tuesday, but he appears to be in line for a much larger role Sunday against the Blazers. While Matt Barnes is the incumbent starter at small forward, Bullock - a strong three-point shooter - could make a case to cut into Barnes' minutes on a nightly basis. Regardless, Bullock should see more minutes in Year 2, especially given the departures of Caron Butler and Jared Dudley.

News: Douglas-Roberts earned praise from coach Doc Rivers after Tuesday's performance against the Warriors, specifically for his effort on defense, according to the LA Times' Ben Bolch.
Impact: Douglas-Roberts is only on the radar in the deepest of leagues at the moment, but could be a legitimate pick up in deeper formats if he begins to carve out a role for the Clippers. Aside from the potential for steals, if Douglas-Roberts can play meaningful minutes in an offense run by Chris Paul, he could become a cheap deeper league add.

News: Griffin's jump shot looked improved in Tuesday's preseason loss to the Warriors, the LA Times' Ben Bolch notes.
Impact: Griffin nailed six jumpers and his only attempt from three-point range. He did state that he is not going to rely on the newest addition to his offensive arsenal, but if he is able to shoot consistently from 15 feet or deeper, Griffin will be an extremely tough scoring option for defenses to stop. Additionally, if Griffin is able to contribute three-pointers for fantasy owners he should see an uptick in his already solid value.
