News: Siva agreed to a contract with the Magic, Yahoo! Sports reports.
Impact: Siva agreed to a non-guaranteed deal and will attend training camp. Barring a catastrophic injury, he'll begin the season on the D-League roster, as the Magic already have 15 players under contract. Siva played 24 games for the Pistons during his rookie season, averaging 2.3 points and 1.4 assists in 9.3 minutes.

News: Harrellson was waived by the Pistons on Tuesday to make room for Caron Butler, the Detroit News' Vincent Goodwill reports.
Impact: The 6-10 forward has yet to spend more than one season with an NBA team, and he has never topped the 4.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game he averaged with the Knicks in 2011-12 as a rookie. He'll try to catch on elsewhere, or perhaps take his game to the D-League.

Impact: It seems likely that Siva will catch on with another NBA team at some point before the season, but he has yet to show that he's anything more than a third point guard.

News: The Detroit Pistons formally introduced Meeks on Monday after signing the free agent to a $19.5 million, three-year deal.
Impact: The Pistons hope Meeks will help bolster their perimeter shooting after he averaged a career-high 15.7 points last season for the Los Angeles Lakers, taking advantage of the opportunity that came about because of Kobe Bryant's injury problems. Meeks has averaged 9.7 points over his five-year career.

News: A person familiar with the situation says the Detroit Pistons have agreed to deals with free agents Caron Butler and Augustin.
Impact: Augustin was waived by Toronto early last season, but the 26-year-old point guard caught on with Chicago after that and ended up averaging 13.1 points for the season.
