News: Prince spent time with the Grizzlies and Celtics before finishing the season with the Pistons, for whom he averaged 7.3 points and 4.2 rebounds in 23 games.
Impact: Prince began the season in Memphis, where he played 26 games and made nine starts before being sent to Boston in the Jeff Green trade. He would only play nine games for the Celtics, coming to Detroit at the deadline in a deal that netted the Celtics Gigi Datome and Jonas Jerebko. Prince, who helped Detroit to a title in 2004, is somewhat of a shell of himself at age 35, but he was a solid outside threat off the bench, shooting 45 percent from three in the month of March. Prince enters the offseason an unrestricted free agent, and it's unclear what his future holds. He proved he can still provide shooting off the bench, but it seems unlikely he'd sign with a non-contending team this late in his career. Unless he opts for retirement, Prince will probably gauge interest this summer in hopes of signing on with a contender.

News: Prince is likely done for the season, David Mayo of MLive.com reports.
Impact: It sounds like Prince will be shut down for the final two games of the regular season, beginning with Monday's matchup against the Cavaliers. He doesn't appear to be dealing with an injury, so it's likely a move to get him some additional rest.
