Zaza Pachulia got more All-Star votes than all but one Warrior

Who knew Zaza Pachulia was so popular?

Yes, Steph Curry was voted a starter in the All-Star Game. The fans definitely nailed that gimmie.

But how can you explain Dallas Mavericks center Zaza Pachulia, who earned more votes than everyone on the best team in the NBA except the reigning MVP?

That’s right: Pachulia, who’s averaging 10.5 points and 10.8 rebounds this season, garnered more votes than Draymond Green and Splash Brother Klay Thompson. He also lapped Mavs teammate Dirk Nowitzki by about 600K votes.

For as popular as the Warriors are believed to be, Golden State fans obviously don’t stuff the ballot box as well as Pachulia’s.
