Watch Ty Lawson make a mockery of the Denver Nuggets during inbounds play
Believe it or not: The Sacramento Kings, after being on the wrong end of one of the most lopsided trade deals in recent NBA history (on paper), looked pretty darn good on Thursday night.
Without their former superstar center DeMarcus Cousins, the Kings moved to 1-0 in the Boogieless era by defeating the Denver Nuggets 116-100. Buddy Hield, the centerpiece of the trade with the New Orleans Pelicans, had himself a nice evening, scoring 16 points (6-10 FG) and grabbing 6 rebounds in 26 minutes.
However, the star of the show was Ty Lawson, who completed one of the smarter plays you'll see this NBA season, milking the game clock for approximately 20 seconds while the Nuggets didn't even so much as attempt to force him to pick up the ball during an inbounds "pass". Watch as the clock just ticks ... and ticks ... and ticks ... and ticks...

Jameer Nelson: What you doin', bro? You deserve to hold the L tonight, Nuggets, if you let this happen without repercussion.
