Watch Russell Westbrook walk an iguana in his latest Jordan spot
Russell Westbrook is one of the game's most unique personalities, so it would make sense for him to have a signature sneaker deal to match.
While he can be seen wearing the latest Air Jordan model on the court, Westbrook's signature shoes aren't made for performance, and are a lifestyle model instead.
With the Westbrook 0.2 set to release this weekend, Jordan Brand dropped a spot that attempts to showcase just how different Westbrook is — and that includes his inclination to keep a pet iguana on a leash.
"Anytime somebody would tell you you couldn't do something, I'd always told myself 'why not?'" Westbrook says at the 11-second mark, just after the iguana appears.
“Fashion is a passion I’ll continue pursuing once I’m done playing,” Westbrook said. "It’s a great honor to work with the brand again on creating my second signature design.”
The Westbrook 0.2 launches Oct. 15 on Jordan.com and at select Jordan retail stores for a suggested price of $140.
Details matter.
