USA Basketball’s intrasquad scrimmage Thursday night in Las Vegas featured some of the best young talent in the NBA, but the highlight of the event came with all of those players on the bench.

During a timeout, U.S. Airman Nathaniel Mills — wearing full fatigues and combat boots — came onto the court and pulled out a windmill dunk that would have earned him some high scores on All-Star weekend.

“That was the best play of the night,” coach Mike Krzyzewski told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Said Mills, who is stationed at Nellis Air Force Base and was honored during the game: “You should see me without fatigues and boots.”
