It’s not quite Chris Bosh and LeBron James, but the Suns are reportedly on the verge of adding two important pieces to the roster in the wake of losing Amar’e Stoudemire.
The team is on the verge of working out deals for Hedo Turkoglu and Josh Childress, according to The Arizona Republic.
The Suns would send Leandro Barbosa and Dwayne Jones to Toronto as part of a three-team deal, also including the Bobcats, to land Turkoglu.
Meanwhile, the team would also land the rights to Childress by sending the Hawks a second-round pick in next year’s draft. Childress played in Greece last year, but the Hawks maintained his NBA rights.
The Suns lost Stoudemire in free agency when the power forward signed a $100 million deal with the Knicks.
