Madame Tussauds unveils uncanny Stephen Curry wax figure

It’s hard to keep Stephen Curry in one place on an NBA court.

But a wax figure of Stephen Curry? That’s not going anywhere.

Curry was the latest celebrity to get the wax treatment Thursday, when Madame Tussauds unveiled a life-size Curry replica.

"This is crazy," Curry said of the figure, valued at $350,000, before matching its pose.

The wax figure will be on display at the Tussauds location in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf.

Curry and his family posed for photos with the second Steph as well, and Riley Curry seemed highly intrigued by its lifelike features — especially the arm.

A team of artists and sculptors spent nearly four months on Curry’s figure, taking 250 measurements of the NBA MVP and including details down to the tattoos on his wrists. Curry said he was amazed each hair was placed in the wax head by hand.

"The whole process from posing for like four, three hours at that position I got a lot of quad work while they did all the measurements," he said.
