Kristaps Porzingis appears on his way to on-court stardom, but somewhere along the way there, he earned enough popularity to reach star levels off the court.
The NBA recently released its list of most popular jerseys, and fourth on the list—behind only Stephen Curry, LeBron James and Kobe Bryant—was the Knicks rookie. Predictably, he was pretty excited about it.

It’s refreshing to see someone of KP’s caliber actually show some joy about an accolade like this. Heck, his happy-go-lucky personality is one of the reasons fans have taken to him so quickly. Of course, playing in New York for a surprisingly competitive Knicks team helps, too.
