Nets shoot lights out, rout Sixers

Christopher Johnson and Mirza Teletovic each scored 21 points to
lead the Brooklyn Nets to a 127-97 preseason victory over the
Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.

Joe Johnson had 18 points, Brook Lopez scored 17 and Shaun
Livingston had 17 points and nine rebounds for the Nets.

The Nets rested Paul Pierce, Deron Williams and Andrei Kirilenko
in their third preseason game.

Evan Turner scored 23 points for the Sixers, and Thaddeus Young
and Michael Carter-Williams both scored 12.

The Nets made 14 of their first 23 shots and the starters led
them to a 65-49 halftime lead. The Nets shot 59 percent in the
first half against a Sixers team that is rebuilding for the long
haul.

First-year Philadelphia coach Brett Brown kept at least three
starters in the game until the end. Brown called two late timeouts
after two Brooklyn 3s stretched the lead to 31.
