Nets reportedly agree to trade Bojan Bogdanovic to Wizards

The Nets and Wizards have reportedly agreed to a trade that appears to be mutually beneficial for each side.

According to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, Brooklyn is sending Bojan Bogdanovic and Chris McCullough to Washington in exchange for Andrew Nicholson, Marcus Thornton and a lottery-protected first-round draft pick in 2017.

The Wizards, meanwhile, get out from under Nicholson's contract, which is on the books for $13 million over the next two years -- far too much for a 27-year-old player averaging 2.5 points in 8.3 minutes per game this season.

Bogdanovic, 27, is putting up the best numbers of his career during his third NBA season. He's averaging 14.2 points in 26.9 minutes per game, and could be a nice addition for a surging Washington team in a reserve role off the bench.
