Kris Humphries’ legal team is planning to grill Kim Kardashian about issues including a Ferrari the couple was given as a wedding present when the pair give evidence in their divorce proceedings next month.
The basketballer’s legal team is pushing to interview his reality star ex-wife on camera during the hearing, entertainment news website Radar Online reported, but she is opposed to a taped deposition.
"Kris is anticipating that Kim will be deposed first, this is something that his lawyer is insisting upon. Kim’s deposition will take place at her lawyer, Laura Wasser’s office, in early June and they are still wrangling over whether or not it will be videotaped," a source told Radar.
"Kris’ depo[sition] will take place shortly thereafter and both should have their formal sit down interviews for their divorce proceedings by the end of June."
Among other things, the New Jersey Nets star wants to know what happened to the white Ferrari that was a gift from a Malaysian businessman who attended the lavish wedding.
"Kris wants a divorce trial so that the truth can finally come out. Amongst other matters, he wants to know about the Ferrari," a source told Radar. "Kris was at Kim’s house when the car was delivered — it was given to both of them, but Kim has kept sole ownership.
"She will be asked about it, under oath, on the stand at the trial."
Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries on Oct. 31 last year, after just 72 days of marriage. The pair had married in a star-studded Hollywood ceremony Aug. 20 and reaped millions of dollars when the nuptials became a two-part special on E! that drew in more than 10 million viewers.
