Chicago Bulls rookie Denzel Valentine wins NBA Summer League at buzzer

On Monday night, the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves squared off in the championship game of the Las Vegas Summer League. With the score tied at 74 in the fourth quarter, and less than 10 seconds to play Tyus Jones hit a Hail Mary three at the buzzer to give the Wolves a three-point lead. But Bulls rookie Denzel Valentine answered with a tying three of his own to force overtime.

Fast-forward to the waning seconds of overtime, and Valentine cashed in again, nailing the game-winning, tournament-clinching three at the horn:

ONIONS!

Despite his heroics, teammate Jerian Grant was named NBA Summer League Finals MVP

Congratulations to the Chicago Bulls, champions of the basketball (Summer League) world!
