The Charlotte Hornets almost have their roster set for next season. There are currently 14 guaranteed contracts on the books, leaving one open roster spot for Andrew Harrison, Elliot Williams or…Sam Thompson?
The former Ohio State Buckeye is reportedly headed to Charlotte's training camp next month.
Thompson was a four-year player at Ohio State, and averaged 10.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per game last season. He's an inconsistent three-point shooter but has pretty good size and athleticism.
Needless to say, it's a long shot he cracks Charlotte's opening day roster.
Former Ohio State player Sam Thompson will go to training camp with the Charlotte Hornets, according to league sources.
