Celtics PG Rondo out vs. Warriors

Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo will not play Saturday night at the Golden State Warriors because of a bruised right thigh and hip.

Rondo participated in the team’s morning shootaround. It was not immediately clear how he was injured.

The three-time All-Star had started the first 24 games for the Celtics this season. He is averaging 13.6 points, 11.7 assists and 5.1 rebounds.
