The sixth overall pick in the 2002 NBA Draft, Wagner had missed the first 33 games for the
surgery was delayed when doctors discovered an inflammation of his pancreas and liver.
Wagner also sat out the first 20 games of the 2002-03 season with a bladder infection, and ended the campaign on the injured list after tearing the meniscus in his right knee on March 21.
The 20-year-old from Camden, New Jersey averaged 13.4 points and 2.8 assists per game during his rookie season.
Diop, the eighth overall pick in the 2001 draft, underwent successful surgery on a torn lateral meniscus in his right knee on December 8. He entered Tuesday's contest averaging 2.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
