The Post-Intelligencer's John Hickey reports that when Mike Cameron talked to the Mariners about a contract extension, they told the outfielder that he would have to wait. Rumor has it that the Mariners aren't planning on having Cameron in their outfield in 2004.

Newsday's Ken Davidoff reports that David Wells' comments about George Steinbrenner have got the Yankees hurler in even more hot water. After Wells said that the Yankees owner may be "pretty shallow", Joe Torre refused to discount the possibility that Wells could lose his spot in the starting rotation. Whether Wells would the also lose his spot on the team remains to be seen.

The Dolphins have spoken with Junior Seau about a move to Miami. Seau's agent, Marvin Demoff, told the Herald's Jason Cole that Dolphins coach Dave Wannstedt has spoken with Seau and that the Dolphins appeared to be interested in the veteran linebacker. The Cardinals, Packers and Lions are also expected to pursue Seau.
Will choose Diggs or KGB?

The Journal Sentinel's Tom Silverstein reports that the Packers are having a tough time deciding whether to match the Lions' four-year, $10.5 million offer to Na'il Diggs. Although the Packers have enough cap room to sign Diggs, they may use the money to re-sign Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila instead. The Packers are battling with the Eagles to sign KGB and may have to fork over a $10 million signing bonus to keep the DE in Green Bay.

The Post-Dispatch's Jim Thomas reports that the Rams may have to cut safety Kim Herring in order to sign Jason Sehorn. Sehorn, who last talked with the Rams this weekend, could be in line for a $2 million a year deal. The Panthers and Browns are also expected to make bids for Sehorn.
