News: Sacre had his 2015-16 salary guaranteed by the Lakers, the LA Times reports.
Impact: Sacre's contract was guaranteed as of July 1, but since then, the Lakers have added Roy Hibbert and Brandon Bass to their frontcourt. While Sacre is a great towel waiver, he's never put up mind-blowing production, even when given considerable minutes. Through 18 games as a starter last season, Sacre averaged 6.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.8 blocks in 22 minutes per game. Even extrapolating those numbers with extra minutes wouldn't make Sacre terribly relevant, which makes him inconsequential even on those rare occasions when he does get a lot of run.
