News: Evans, in his 13th NBA season and second with the Kings, had a season infected by both knee and thumb injuries, but he was still able to appear in 47 games, finishing with averages of 3.7 points and 6.4 rebounds in 16 minutes per game.
Impact: Evans may not be a threat on offense, but he's always a tenacious rebounder. Despite the fact that he is 35 years old and played just 16 mpg this season, Evans still managed to grab over six boards per game and had 10 double-digit rebounding games, including a November outing against the Grizzlies where he posted season-highs of 17 points and 20 rebounds. Evans is not under contract next season, and since the Kings already have so much depth in the frontcourt, there's a strong chance he isn't re-signed by Sacramento this offseason. However, even though he's ancient in NBA years, it's likely Evans finds a team willing to sign him for next season given the energy and rebounding he can give a team off the bench.
