News: Beverley played 28 minutes, scoring 12 points (4-10 FG, 2-8 3PT, 7-8 FT)to go with eight rebounds and two steals in his return against the Thunder. Impact: Beverley went slightly above his projected minutes and was able to remain relatively consistent in his contributions. He is not a typical point guard who will rack up assists. His strengths are his ability to rebound and provide suffocating defense that hopefully results in steala. Beverley's return showed more of the same, and even though he only went 2-of-8 from beyond the arc on Sunday, he is averaging 43 percent from beyond the arc this year in four games played.(RotoWire, )

News: Beverley will reportedly be held to around 20 to 25 minutes in his return Sunday. Impact: Beverley will get the start, but the Rockets want him to take it easy in his return from his hamstring injury, so he'll be held to limited minutes to lessen the risk of an aggravation. If all goes well in this game, he should be ready for a full games worth of work in the Rockets next matchup.(RotoWire, )

News: Beverley (hamstring) will play and start against the Thunder on Sunday, Rockets radio play-by-play broadcaster Craig Ackerman reports. Impact: Beverley has missed the past four games for the Rockets but seems poised to make a return from his nagging hamstring issue against the Thunder. He is averaging 30.7 minutes over three games this season, and it seems reasonable to assume that he'll be awarded a similar amount of playing time barring a blowout.(RotoWire, )

News: Beverley (hamstring) participated in Saturday's practice, and Rockets coach Kevin McHale said afterward that he expects the point guard to play in Sunday's game against Oklahoma City, The Houston Chronicle's Jenny Dial Creech reports. Impact: Beverley has missed four consecutive games and six of the past seven, with his nagging hamstring injury refusing to go away. It sounds like he'll finally be back in the lineup, which means Isaiah Canaan will be pushed back to a bit role off the bench.(RotoWire, )

News: Beverley (hamstring) will not play Friday, Fox 26's Mark Berman reports. Impact: Isaiah Canaan and Jason Terry basically split minutes at the one with Beverly out in the Rockets' previous game, with James Harden handling the ball most of the time. Consider Beverly day-to-day.(RotoWire, )

News: Beverley (hamstring) did not practice Monday, Mark Berman of Fox 26 in Houston reports. Impact: Beverley continues to nurse a nagging hamstring injury that's kept him out of four of the Rockets' last five games. His absence from Monday's practice is not overly encouraging, though he hasn't been ruled out for Wednesday's matchup with the Wolves in Mexico City. If he does, indeed, sit out, expect Isaiah Canaan to continue filling in as the starting point guard. The former Murray State star had 21 points in Saturday's loss to the Warriors.(RotoWire, )

News: Beverley (hamstring) will not play Saturday against the Warriors, the Houston Chronicle reports. Impact: Beverley was able to make a brief appearance back in the lineup on Tuesday, but had to return to the bench Thursday against the Spurs, as the hamstring injury continued to linger. He'll miss Saturday's game, and should be considered day-to-day following it. Isaiah Canaan will continue to start at point guard until Beverley is able to return to full health.(RotoWire, )

News: Beverley started in Sunday's 69-65 win over Oklahoma City after sitting out the previous four games. Impact: The Houston point guard had appeared in one game since the end of October, a win in Miami on Nov. 4, because of an ailing left hamstring.(STATS, 7:08pm)

News: Beverley (hamstring) will not play in Thursday's game against the Spurs, the Houston Chronicle reports. Impact: Beverley returned Tuesday after missing a pair of games due to a hamstring injury, which will sideline him again Thursday.
