News: The Spurs announced on Monday that they have re-signed Matt Bonner. Impact: Terms were not disclosed, but the veteran will return for a ninth season in San Antonio. That's the longest tenure outside of the trio of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker. Bonner only played sparingly last season, averaging 3.2 points in 11.3 minutes in 61 games. But he shot 42.9 percent from 3-point range and is a beloved member of the team both inside the organization and in the community. (STATS, 12:24pm)

News: Bonner will return to the Spurs next season, the San Antonio Express-News reports. Impact: A free agent this summer, Bonner was expected to return to the Spurs all along. Since coming to San Antonio in 2006, Bonner has solidified himself as a fan-favorite and one of the better catch-and-shoot marksmen in the league. His playing time dwindled to just 11.3 minutes per game last season, and he'll play a similar, reserve role again in 2014-15.(RotoWire, )
