News: Aldridge had 16 points and nine boards Friday. Impact: Facing a team that famously bypassed him in the draft, Aldridge didn't produce All-Star numbers since the Bulls turned in a humiliating and pathetic effort. It's a tough blow for fantasy owners.(STATS, 01:13am)

News: Aldridge (illness) is questionable for Monday's game against the Pelicans. Impact: Aldridge, who missed Saturday's game, is still recovering from an upper respiratory illness. He was a full participant in Sunday's practice, however, so there's a solid chance he returns to the lineup Monday.(RotoWire, )

News: Aldridge (illness) scored 22 points (9-18 FG, 4-4 FT) with nine rebounds, two assists and a steal in 37 minutes during Monday's win over the Pelicans. Impact: He didn't seem slowed by his respiratory illness, just missing his fourth double-double of the season. Aldridge's rebounds have been down so far, but he should get back to averaging nearly 20 points and 10 rebounds a night soon enough.(RotoWire, )

News: Aldridge (illness) is suiting up Monday against the Pelicans, the Blazers' official site reports. Impact: Aldridge will merely miss one game due to an upper respiratory illness, but his hands will be full against the froncourt beast that is Anthony Davis. Although Aldridge's typical line may not come to fruition, he should put up at least 20 points, which he's accomplished in seven of nine appearances this season en route to 21.9 per game.(RotoWire, )

News: Aldridge (illness) was a participant in Portland's practice Sunday, digital reporter for the Blazer's official site Casey Holdahl reports. Impact: Aldridge came down with an upper respiratory illness Friday and had to sit out Saturday's game against the Nets as a result. The fact that he was able to practice Sunday is a good sign for his availability heading into Monday's contest against the Pelicans.(RotoWire, )

News: Aldridge (upper respiratory illness) will not play Saturday against the Nets. Impact: Aldridge was considered doubtful for this game, so hopefully this doesn't catch fantasy owners as a surprise. The Blazers have not yet confirmed who will start in Aldridge's place, though Thomas Robinson seems to be the most likely candidate. We'll consider Aldridge questionable for Monday's game against the Pelicans until we hear otherwise.(RotoWire, )

News: Aldridge (illness) had to leave practice Friday with a respiratory illness, and is doubtful to play Saturday against the Nets, the Oregonian reports. Impact: Aldridge tried to make it through practice, but had to leave, as the illness was getting the best of him. If he isn't able to play Saturday, consider him questionable for Monday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans as well. Thomas Robinson could get the start if Aldridge isn't able to play. Chris Kaman will also be an option.(RotoWire, )

News: Aldridge scored 12 points (4-11 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), with seven rebounds, six blocks and three assists in 30 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Nuggets. Impact: If this game hadn't gotten out of hand early, Aldridge could have posted even bigger numbers across the board. The Trail Blazers won by 17, and that was with the Nuggets outscoring Portland 35-19 in the fourth quarter.(RotoWire, )

Nov 9, 2014
News: Aldridge notched a double-double during Saturday's defeat at the Clippers, recording 21 points (7-22 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 boards, and two assists in 39 minutes. Impact: Aldridge has made sure to toss up at least one attempt from three-point range during each of the Blazers' first six games, knocking down three among 10 shots from deep. Meanwhile, his rebound total is lacking from past seasons, but note that he's averaging 8.5 across the past four games in the backs of two double-doubles. As long as he keeps up his recent pace on the glass, the addition of the occasional trey to his nightly line provides ample evidence to his claim as one of the league's top power forwards.(RotoWire, )
Fri. Nov 7, 2014
News: Aldridge had 20 points and seven rebounds in Thursday's win over Dallas. Impact: Aldridge is averaging just 6.2 boards after pulling down a career-best 11.1 per game last season. He should pick it up sooner than later.(STATS, 00:12am)
