News: Caldwell-Pope continued his streaky season Friday, scoring 21 points (7-19 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-6 FT), a season high for him. Impact: The second-year player continues to have a dreadful shooting year, making just 35.6 percent of his shots, which is the worst among all qualified shooting guards. This was the third time that Caldwell-Pope broke 20 points, a mark he only broke once during his rookie season (which came on the last game of the year). It's unlikely coach Stan Van Gundy will continue to put up with Caldwell-Pope's poor shooting, but he has now combined for 76 minutes in his past two games.(RotoWire, )

News: Caldwell-Pope played a season-low 21 minutes Tuesday. He finished with six points (2-9 FG, 2-7 3Pt), two assists, and two steals. Impact: Caldwell-Pope was given tons of minutes to begin the season, but he's shooting a horendous 36 percent from the field on 11.8 field goal attempts per game. He's a pest on defense, but KCP hasn't put it all together and given the Pistons the kind of consistency on offense that teams want to see out of their starting shooting guard. While it's possible KCP's struggles are tied to the lack of spacing created by the Pistons' big lineup of Andre Drummond, Greg Monroe, and Josh Smith, the excuses for Caldwell-Pope's struggles have worn thin, and there is real concern for whether he'll make the strides experts anticipated he could make this season.(RotoWire, )

Impact: He continues to show flashes of becoming a dangerous weapon from long range, but so far KCP hasn't been able to develop any consistency in his sophomore campaign.(RotoWire, )
