News: Marshall was claimed off waivers by the Bucks on Saturday, ESPN reports. Impact: In grave need of a ballhandler, the Bucks scooped up Marshall just one day removed from the Lakers jettisoning the point man in order to free up cap space. He'll settle in behind starter Brandon Knight, competing against second-year pro Nate Wolters for reserve minutes. In 54 games with the Lakers last season, Marshall averaged 8.8 dimes and 0.9 steals per game, while knocking down 71 treys in all. However, the rest of his line -- 8.0 points (on 40.6 percent shooting) and 2.9 rebounds in 29 minutes nightly -- left something to be desired.(RotoWire, )

News: Marshall was waived by the Lakers on Friday, but the team is interested in bringing him back on a new deal if he clears waivers, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports. Impact: One of the NBA's best passers, Marshall averaged 8.0 points and 8.8 assists in 54 games (45 starts) for the Lakers last season. His offensive game inside the arc is quite limited, however, as he shot just 40.6 percent from the field. Marshall should generate some interest as a potential waiver claim, but if he's available, the Lakers will likely look to bring him back as insurance behind Jeremy Lin, as veteran Steve Nash has had trouble staying healthy.(RotoWire, )

News: Marshall ended the Lakers' third Summer League hitout with 11 points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and a steal in 24 minutes Monday. Impact: Marshall is only averaging 8.7 points and 3.7 assists in the three Summer League games played so far, although he has played 26 minutes per game. He has looked inferior to rookie Jordan Clarkson in all three games and his fantasy value appears to be on the wane with Clarkson excelling and Jeremy Lin now in town.(RotoWire, )

News: Marshall improved upon his below-par first Summer League game, scoring 11 points (3-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), with four rebounds, four assists and two steals in 27 minutes. Impact: Marshall still couldn't get his shot falling, but at least got to the line and dropped a few three-point shots as well. With the play of Jordan Clarkson, Marshall, whose contract is unguaranteed for 2014-15, could find himself on the outer if his play doesn't improve.(RotoWire, )

News: Marshall scored just four points (2-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt), adding five assists, three rebounds and a steal in 27 minutes Friday. Impact: Marshall handled the bulk of the minutes at guard along with rookie Jordan Clarkson, but couldn't get his shot to fall. With the addition of Jeremy Lin via trade and the impressive showing of Clarkson, Marshall's fantasy value will likely be stunted.(RotoWire, )
