News: Walker (foot) will not play Thursday against Indiana, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports. He underwent an MRI, but the results have not been released yet. Impact: Walker's foot became "really sore" during Thursday morning's shootaround, and he'll be held out of action Thursday. Until the results of the MRI are released, it's probably best to play it safe and let someone else draft Walker for the time being.(RotoWire, )

News: Walker (foot) departed Thursday morning's shootaround due to foot soreness and is considered questionable to play in Charlotte's preseason finale against the Pacers, the Charlotte Observer reports. Impact: Walker, who battled a knee bruise earlier in the preseason, can be added to a lengthy list of injuries for the new-look Hornets. While it doesn't look to be anything serious - there's still a chance he could play Thursday night - it's relatively concerning that foot soreness would crop up seemingly out of nowhere. Walker's status will continue to be monitored on a day-to-day basis in advance of the regular season.(RotoWire, )

News: Walker (knee) will play in Friday's preseason game, the Charlotte Observer's Rick Bonnell reports. Impact: Bonnell said Walker will "give it a try," so it's unlikely that the Bobcats' point guard plays significant minutes. Nonetheless, it's encouraging that he will take the court, and is on track to be relatively healthy for the start of the regular season.(RotoWire, )

News: Walker (knee) will be evaluated before Friday's preseason game against the Wizards to determine if he can in fact play. Impact: Originally Walker was ruled out for Friday's game, but he's apparently progressed enough to participate in pregame warmups. Considering that he's close to returning, his knee injury doesn't seem too concerning for his viability during the regular season.(RotoWire, )

News: Walker (knee) will not play Friday against the Wizards. Impact: Walker sustained a knee contusion earlier in the week and will miss his second consecutive preseason contest. He should be fine when the regular season opens, and he'll begin the year as the unquestioned starter at point guard.(RotoWire, )

News: Walker (knee) will not play in Wednesday's preseason game against the Pistons. Impact: Walker sustained a minor knee contusion in Monday's game against the Magic, and he'll be held out, likely for precautionary reasons. The ailment shouldn't affect Walker for more than a few days, and his status for the regular season opener is not in jeopardy.(RotoWire, )

News: Walker suffered a contusion on his left knee during Monday night's NBA preseason game against Orlando. Impact: Walker was injured early in the third quarter. News: Walker said after Monday's preseason win against the Magic that he may require a few days off, but his left knee contusion isn't serious, the Charlotte Observer reports. Impact: Taking Walker's words at face value put in peril an appearance in the Hornets' next contest Wednesday versus the Pistons. However, a lengthy absence isn't expected, which should result in active status before long. After two-plus exhibitions, he's averaged 12.3 points (on 48.3 percent shooting), 4.7 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and one three-pointer in 23.3 minutes. Expect steals to return to his line once he's logging his normal 35-38 minutes per night.(RotoWire, )

News: Walker left Monday's preseason game versus the Magic with a left knee contusion and won't return, the Charlotte Observer reports. Impact: Walker's removal was likely precautionary, but his status should be watched in the coming days to learn if he misses any additional time. Before suffering the injury, he put together a jam-packed line, with 11 points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, five dimes, and one steal in 17 minutes.(RotoWire, )
