News: Turner is finalizing a deal with the Celtics, CBS Sports reports. Impact: The second overall pick in the 2010 draft, Turner split last season between the Sixers and Pacers. While he was productive with Philadelphia, he averaged only 7.1 points and 3.2 boards, while shooting 41 percent from the field, as a member of the Pacers. He all but fell out of the rotation during the playoffs, which significantly lowered his value as a free agent. The Celtics will use part of their mid-level exception to sign Turner, who figures to hold down a bench role backing up Avery Bradley and Jeff Green. He'll need to earn his minutes, however, as rookies James Young and Marcus Smart will also be in competition for time at shooting guard and small forward.(RotoWire, )
