News: Buycks signed a one-year with Spanish club Valencia on Friday, Sportando reports. Impact: Buycks reportedly turned down several non-guaranteed NBA offers and will instead head overseas, where he'll see drastically more playing time with less risk. The Marquette product averaged 3.1 points and 1.6 rebounds for the Raptors in 2013-14 after signing a multi-year deal last summer.(RotoWire, )

News: Buycks was waived by the Raptors on Saturday. Impact: In three summer league tilts in Las Vegas, Buycks achieved double-digit scoring on each occasion, averaging 19.7 points (on 46.3 percent shooting), 4.3 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.7 steals in 30 minutes. Despite the output, though, he's buried on the depth chart at point guard behind Kyle Lowry, Greivis Vasquez, and Louis Williams. Luckily, Buycks' performance could result in another NBA opportunity.(RotoWire, )

News: Buycks recorded 24 points (10-16 FG, 4-6 FT), three rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 35 minutes during the Raptors' 93-77 loss versus the Rockets at the Las Vegas Summer League on Wednesday. Impact: Buycks started at point guard, and while he was extremely efficient from the field, he also had eight turnovers. With Kyle Lowry and Greivis Vasquez both returning, he's unlikely to warrant much consideration in standard leagues.(RotoWire, )
