News: Rose participated in his first Team USA practice of the summer and said that there's no pain in his knees, and his confidence is high that he will return to his pre-injury playing level, the Chicago Tribune reports. Impact: Before Monday's practice, Team USA coach Mike Krzyzewski said that Rose won't have any restrictions throughout the span of the summer practice and competition. His participation in the World Cup should do him a world of good since he's been away from competitive basketball for quite some time. Beyond that, it should have positive implications for his 2014-15 NBA campaign.(RotoWire, )

News: Rose (knee) has no restrictions entering Team USA training camp on Monday, Yahoo! Sports reports. Impact: Rose will join the USA national team setup on Monday ahead of next month's FIBA World Cup in Spain. Despite Rose playing just 10 games for the Bulls over the past two seasons, USA coach Mike Krzyzewski has stated Rose will be unrestricted in his quest to earn a roster spot during practice. With that in mind, it will be interesting to monitor how Rose responds to going full speed versus top competition once again. Should he survive roster cuts, Rose could use the World Cup as a high profile tune-up before re-joining Chicago for the upcoming NBA season.(RotoWire, )
